Bernard F. Siegel is a Senior Litigator who came to
us with 26 years experience as a member of the Florida Bar.
He has a diverse range of accomplishments in law and a wide
range of personal interests.
Mr. Siegel earned his law degree from the University of Miami
(1975) and is a member of the Florida Bar and several Federal
Courts. He is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at legal
education seminars, as well as civic groups in South Florida,
and is a renowned authority in the area of sports law. He
has also authored several important articles on the subjects
of medical malpractice, sports promotion, sponsorship and
the Internet. He managed a successful entertainment, sports
law and trial practice and founded the Miami Tropics championship
basketball team before coming to Aronfeld Trial Lawyers. His
trial experience includes representing victims of Hurricane
Andrew, parents of missing children, and numerous complex
civil litigation matters.
Mr. Siegel has devoted himself to the community with the same
energy and fighting spirit he gives his clients. He chaired
the Dade County Bar Association Association Hurricane Andrew
50% Rule Relief Committee through which he assisted Miami-Dade
County in resolving the serious problems arising from the
enforcement of FEMA regulations.He founded two homeowners
associations. He led a successful grassroots effort to preserve
the athletics program at Miami-Dade Community College. In
addition, he served on committees for the University of Miami
and Florida International University and currently serves
on the board of the International Hospital Relief Foundation,
which sponsors medical missions to Third World countries.
For Siegel's tireless efforts and contributions to the community,
the Mayor of Miami and Miami-Dade County Commission honored
him by public proclamation recognizing his leadership.
