Attorney

Bruce E. Shemrock is a proud native of Saskatchewan, Canada and has lived in Miami for over twenty years. He speaks fluent French, English, Signed English and has an excellent knowledge of both Spanish, and German.

He comes to Aronfeld Trial Lawyers with a strong background in customer service, having spent fourteen years as an International Flight Attendant and nine years in litigation software design.  He has a stellar educational background, graduating from Nova Southeastern Law School with honors and several outstanding scholar awards.

In addition to attending both the University of Saskatchewan and the Sorbonne in Paris, France he graduated with a degree in Airline Management from the prestigious Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.  He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1997. In Law School, he was an active member of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law; and served as its Technical Editor.

Bruce's article, “Infancy and Maturity, a Comparison of the Canadian Charter of  Rights and Freedoms and the American Constitution” is widely considered a ground breaking legal analysis of Canadian Law and was published by ILSA.  He has authored several published articles lectures frequently in the areas of civil litigation, case management and technology in law firms.

Bruce served as the Editor for both Aronfeld's first two books: "Sara Rose, Kid Lawyer" and "Make It Your Own Law Firm."

Out of the office, Bruce is interested in art and design, computers, international travel and community service. He is passionately involved with both Project: Newborn, the University of Miami Neonatal Unit and is a founding member of  Lawyers to the Rescue.
