IMPORTANT CONSUMER RECALL ALERT: Thousands of Zipline Kits Sold on Amazon Recalled Due to Fall Hazard
Zipline kits sold exclusively on Amazon have been recalled due to reports of cables snapping while in use. The recall involves Jugader Zipline Kits containing a cable wire that is 160-foot long and 4-mm thick, a blue trolley, and a hanging plastic seat.
These kits were sold on Amazon.com from March 2020 through June 2023 for around $140.
The company has received 20 reports of cables breaking, resulting in nine injuries including lacerations and a broken bone.
The recall affects 6,600 zipline kits and have the Amazon ASIN number: B083FXFCY5.
Consumers should immediately stop using the zipline kit and contact Jugader for a free repair kit.
