After the story broke about Mr. Nathaniel Cruz suing Publix for being forced to strip naked by Publix employees who suspected him of stealing eye drops, we received calls from other people alleging similar mistreatment at Publix stores around Florida.
Whether those calls are true or not we do not know. But we are going to investigate those claims. In addition we have finally heard from Publix’s lawyers. We are working with them to obtain an “unedited” copy of the in store surveillance video.
