12 Year Old Boy Injured at Gameworks on the Turret Tower

12 year old Jon Antony Muniz broke his leg when the Turret Tower video game spun out of control.
The Turret Tower is a video arcade game manufactured by Namco and designed by Dell (not the computer company). Gameworks which is owned by Sega is a video arcade/bar and grill in the Sunset Shoppes, located in Miami, Florida. Gameworks has locations across the country.
For some reason Gameworks decided to move the coin box which was designed to be outside the game, inside the game, creating a very dangerous and defective condition, that snapped our client’s tibia. Apparently this is not the first time that someone has been hurt while playing the Turret Tower and we are investigating to find out why.
This personal injury case is being litigated in Miami and was handled by Spencer Aronfeld and Bruce E. Shemrock, who led the product liability division of our firm.
