Virgin Voyages Partners with Jennifer Lopez for New Fleet

Virgin Voyages has partnered with Jennifer Lopez, to develop wellness, fitness, entertainment, and design collaborations for its new fleet.

Rather than taking on a purely ceremonial role as ‘godmother,’ Lopez will be included in decision making, joining Virgin Voyages as an investor and the cruise line’s chief entertainment and lifestyle officer.  As part of the collab, Virgin Voyages will also offer JLo Beauty onboard its ships.

In a promotion of the JLo collaboration, Virgin Voyages is offering $200 in onboard cruise credit, called “Sailor Loot,” which can be redeemed on the cruise line’s website until March 31.

Virgin Voyages has two ships in its fleet: Scarlet Lady, launched last fall, and Valiant Lady, which is due for its maiden voyage on March 18 in Northern Europe and the Canary Islands.

Virgin Voyages made its US debut in October 2021 and the cruise line’s second and third ships, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady, will be joining the fleet in March and August 2022, respectively.

Accordingly, we urge anyone who has been involved in an accident on a Virgin Voyages cruise to consult with an experienced maritime personal injury attorney. Important evidence such as CCTV footage of the incident, maritime data regarding the wind and wave conditions, and the names of witnesses and crewmembers are often lost or difficult to locate with the passage of time.

The most common cases against cruise lines involve passengers who have slipped or tripped on the ship’s deck, in their cabins, on the pool deck or at one of the buffets. With injuries ranging from broken arms and legs to more serious head, neck and often resulting in lost wages, medical expenses, and pain & suffering. Injuries can also occur on the various shore excursions offered by Virgin Voyages and getting on and off that transport passengers from cruise ships to ports.
