Today I spent the day in Palm Beach, Florida taking a peri-operative nurses deposition at Good Samaritan Hospital. The case involves a serious injury that occurred to my client during a routine orthopaedic procedure. A tourniquet device was used and we believe it was used too long and at unduly high pressure resulting in nerve damage.
Palm Beach, while only a few hours from Miami seems more like another world. There is a degree of civility with the lawyers, witnesses and just about every thing that does not seem to exist in Miami.
I do not know why but I sure enjoy litigating up here. Perhaps one day soon, Aronfeld Trial Lawyers will open its first satellite office in Palm Beach. And I know who is going to run it, me.
