2018 promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting years for the cruise industry and for those of us who enjoy cruising– All of the major cruise lines will be launching bigger, newer and nicer ships this year.

Perhaps the newest cruise ship that has garnered the most attention is the eagerly awaited Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s (RCCL) Symphony of the Seas–which is set to launch from Barcelona in just 85 days.  The Symphony of the Seas will join other members of RCCL’s Oasis Class Ships, which currently include the Harmony of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas.

The Symphony of the Seas offers passengers a wide range of never before seen activities, dining and other amenities that promise to make it the most exciting ship at sea.  For example, the Symphony of the Seas will have what I believe, is the first ever onboard laser tag game, which will be played in Studio B.  Also there will be onboard the Broadway musical Hairspray, a new ice skating show called Steal Some Time, and a one of a kind multimedia show called Flight.

Of course, the ship will also have what is now expected, but still spectacular RCCL water slides found on its sister ships, including three water slides, the sheer-drop 10-story Ultimate Abyss and multiple FlowRiders artificial surfing machines, rock climbing and ice skating.

For early 2018 the Symphony of the Seas will be based in Europe; but is set to cruise the Caribbean starting in the Fall of 2018 from Port Miami.   I for one cannot wait to experience this amazing ship.

If you are injured aboard the Symphony of the Seas or other RCCL ship anywhere in the world, it is important to consult with an experienced cruise ship injury attorney as soon as possible.  Most cruise lines, including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, MSC, Disney, Holland America, Princess, Costa, Regents Seven Seas and Oceania require that claims against them be pursued in a very specific place under very strict deadlines.   Failure to comply with each individual cruise lines deadlines can result in a complete loss of any and all legal rights.

Our maritime personal injury lawyers have over 30 years of combined legal experience holding cruise lines like RCCL and others accountable if and when their carelessness causes an accident or injury either aboard their ship, on a tender boat, gangway or an excursion.  Call us today and speak with a cruise ship claims lawyer about your potential claim- toll free 1-866-597-4529, 305-441-0440, or by email.
